Appointment System
We operate using an appointment system during the mornings (Mon to Sat). Please be on time for your appointment – if you are running late OR have to cancel PLEASE LET US KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Also inform us if you wish to bring in more than one animal.
The afternoons and Sundays 9 to 11AM will remain “open” – you do not have to book an appointment. You can just “walk in”.
We welcome walk-in clients during the mornings too! However, clients who have made appointments will always be attended to first.
Please understand that occasionally we will run late due to unforeseen circumstances – however we will ensure that your wait is as short as possible.
Consultations
Call ahead and book an appointment to see the vet of your choice – or “walk in” anyway and be attended to by one of the experienced clinicians whom we have on our roster.
In order to reduce congestion in the waiting and consult rooms we kindly ask that only the bare minimum of family members accompany your pet.
Please can you keep an eye on your children – the staff are more used to managing unruly cats and dogs than wayward kids!
Surgeries and other procedures
If you have booked your pet for a procedure, please bring them in on time. Should you decide to cancel a surgery, please inform us as soon as possible.
Admissions are done between 8.30 and 9 am on the day of the procedure. If you need to drop off your pet earlier or later than this, please inform the reception staff and an arrangement will be made.
All pets are discharged between 3.30 and 5pm the same day UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED BY THE VETERINARIAN.
Vaccinations
Please bring along all relevant papers/ vaccination booklets. You may have none if the animal is a recent rescue or is an unvaccinated pup/kitten – in this case we will provide you with the necessary paperwork.
We will send out reminders for vaccination boosters. If you decide to go elsewhere for the inoculation, please inform us so that we can cancel the recurring reminders.
We encourage ANNUAL vaccinations especially against RABIES. This also allows us to see your pet ANNUALLY – remember the price of a vaccination includes a health check!
